According to the NOAA weather report, we currently have "snow freezing fog."

No matter how many times I say it, it doesn't make any more sense.

I mean, it looks like snow... falls like snow... piles up on the ground like snow... Can't we just call it snow?

Speaking of shite weather, I just looked at the 5-day forecast. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. The nasty cold kind. I have the feeling I'll be training it to work this week.

Today's Big Picture post -- Scenes from Antarctica -- is almost enough to make me want to go there. Those starscapes? Those auroras? WOW. Too bad the weather's shite.

I took myself clothes shopping today, which hopefully means I won't have to for another two years. (For fall/winter clothes, anyway.) It's pretty much always an exhausting process, but I was able to hit TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Marshalls, and Jewel (for groceries, not clothes) within three hours.
