Internship is going well. I'll be done next Friday and home around 10 August. I'm putting off Airborne School for now, though I am happy to say that I can- after lots of hard work this summer- do pull-ups. :) Brian is at Ft. Irwin, California now for CTLT. If you want to send him mail, he'd love it

Hey there! Glad to hear your summer's going well. Mine has been pretty busy between working and driving and hour and a half round trip just to see the BF. About Lisa, yeah the dad's still in the picture, unfortunatly. He has a very low paying job (if he even has it at all) and is just a freeloader. Not only does Lisa have to support herself and the baby, she's got to pay for his needs too. Oh well, hopefully she'll get the hint soon enough and get rid of him for good. Lisa's having her labor induced on Wednesday so for sure by Friday I'll be an auntie, which is a very scary thought.

We should get together sometime after you get back. It's been a while since I've seen ya. Take care and talk to you later!

Dunno if you'll get this in time, but here goes anyway. I got the postcard you sent me at Ft. Lewis. Thanks! It was a huge boost to morale. We were on day 2 of Squad STX, if memory serves. I'm coming to Ft. Benning tomorrow, July 28th, and will be there 'til the 20th of August, hopefully. If you have weekends off, we could hang out somewhere on post, if there are places to hang out...never been to Benning, myself. Just wanted to thank you for writing, and let you know that I'll certainly return the favor when you suffer through LDAC. Hope to see you at Ft. Benning! Later,

Hey Will-
Good luck at Airborne School~ I have a friend who will be in Alpha Company with you, and two friends who just graduated from Alpha last Friday. I've heard it's supposed to be the easiest of the companies, with the coolest laid back cadre...So hopefully everything works out well for you. I'll be in the Benning area until next weekend, but will only be on-post until Friday. Let me know if you have some free time and I'll take you around post and show you where everything is.
