It's so weird to be back here...

Quick hello from Vietnam. We are staying on top of a mountain outside the town of Kham Duc, pop. approx. 5,000. It's something out of a book, the way we're living. we were stranded in guam for two days en route to vietnam. it's been pretty sweet. we have $100/day per diem and we are staying the hilton on the beach. couldn't ask for more. we leave today, and i'm excited to get the dig started. if all goes well, 7 people from my site might finally make it home. i hope everyone is having a great summer!

i accidently killed a rabbit on my drive home from land nav tonight. i feel awful. we were driving kinda crazy, joking around with kroll and opheim...and that's what i get. *sigh* i won't be speeding again any time soon. :(
