Does anybody else find it strange that there is so much bad stigma/superstition regarding Friday 13th??

So it was my b'day 6 days ago and since then I have kind of up-lifted my spirits. I figured it is a whole new year and I am going to try and not be such a sad case. Although, I tend to think this every few weeks... yeah, I don't know, this is as far as this is going for now....
