Many of the blog followers I have on here came from the days of the Roxydoll Bulletin Board. After setting up a group on facebook and discussion, we have decided for a new bulletin board! It is hosted with ProBoards and is free, so there are limitations, but it works for now.

I posted lots of pictures of facebook and don't really feel like posting a lot anymore, but sadly, Hurricane Sandy wiped out the LBI house. We had 41" of standing water outside, and 21" inside the house. It is all drained now and everything on the first floor of the house is ruined.

I meant to post about our trip before it happened, but things just got super busy before we left. It was the first time I've been out of the country in years, and also, the first "big" vacation I took with Dave. RIP Miss Molly Belle
Sadly, my sister's dog Molly passed away late Sunday night/early Monday morning. She was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma in March 2011, and was given about a year to live. She received chemotherapy, holistic treatments, and basically every option under the sun from 3 different veterinarian practices. At one point, she was in remission, then was out ( Read more... ) -

The rivers around NJ are still rising and there are more and more flooding problems. I heard that if you basement was filled with 4 feet of water, it will cost approximately $50,000 to fix it - and a lot of these homes don't have flood insurance cause these parts of NJ don't normally flood ( Read more... )
