Abstinence is good. I have found it to be very cathartic, healing, and centering. You'll know when you're ready for that phase to end, but in the meantime enjoy the added energy focusing on youself provides. :-)

It's not been as hard as I thought, thought I haven't been at it long. I've masterbated twice in the last month and a half and was able to determine that on both days I had excessive refined sugar that seemed to drop my energy down. When I injest healthy choices, I feel more inclined to channel sexual energy into other activities, such as chanting or drawing mandalas.

I'm glad it hasn't been as difficult as you had expected. I believe it was in "The Mists of Avalon" that chastity was used as a channel for positive energy for religous reasons? Self sacrifice for a higher good is a powerful thing. :-)
I'm doing pretty good. Getting nervous about all the baby things, but that's natural supposedly.

There are ups and downs (as to be expected) but yes, I'm feeling that the direction I'm going resonates with my sense of purpose and spirituality. :) How is (almost) married life?

It's like every single massive spell I've ever worked years ago finally played out. Niki is the right woman for me. She loves *me* and doesn't let me talk down to myself among other things. And it's so awesome to see how I can calm her down.
