Thanks to everyone who sent me their best wishes regarding the loss of Cheetah. We're still very sad, and I'm still crying a few times a day, but the sadness is punctuated by small periods of gladness just remembering how lucky we were to have her. Yesterday I took Cheetah, my beautiful Abyssinian cat, to the vet. She hadn't been eating properly for ages, but on Wednesday she stopped eating completely. Next thing I know, I'm dropping off to the vet on Friday morning for an X-ray. The x-ray revealed something that needed operating on immediately. So they did. It turns out that I can cook. I didn't actually know this. Growing up I was never allowed to cook as my mother was afraid that I'd mess up her kitchen. Just bought some more kaoka dark orange organic chocolate - after months of not having it... Stealthflower approves of me eating it, and it's so strong, dark and smooth that it could be called the Barry White of the chcolate world. Happy tastebuds...
