Celiac Disease
Thursday morning N found out he has Celiac Disease. We went shopping at the local Natural Foods Co-op to get him some gluten free foods to try. The next couple of days we read a ton of information on CD and I was alarmed to find out that I have many of the same issues. Life has been very busy lately. N teases me that he's turned me into a soccer mom! During the 3 weeks that N was across the country helping his mother recover from a heart attack I was here at home helping take care of the Munchkin, taking him to his baseball games, helping with his homework, playing ball outside with him so he got some practice, ( Read more... ) -
Energy Request
Someone very dear to me (N) is very far from home right now. His mother had a heart attack and he flew out to be with her and to bring her home. That was a week ago. She had surgery and was doing well until she broke a rib from coughing. Things have been going downhill a little each day. Life is....
Not so bad at the moment. The last month has gone really well. I'm almost finished with my book although I did miss my end of the year deadline. Munchkin had a good holiday season with LOTS of new toys. N and I have been getting closer again. Kitty Courage
Well, N has been living here for approximately 5 weeks now. His 2 kitties have not left his bedroom since. He's kept food, water and a litterbox up there for them until they get used to things. Fertility Smoothie Challenge
So I started this Fertility Smoothie Challenge. Some of the recipes seem kinda gross but none of them have been completely horrible and they seem to get better as time goes on. The ingredients have been somewhat difficult to get at times but it's not too bad.

Today started with our munchkin wanting to work on his Rootvue kit he got during the holidays. It's a little kit in which you grow root vegetables (radishes, onions and carrots) and it has a glass window so you can see the plants growing. Well, N and his little boy have been moved in for about a week now. There are still boxes everyone and we're still trying to find places for everything but Munchkin's room is done and so is N's.
