EEP. I need to make a big ass comment when I'm not in a hurry, but I just had to mention this, because it literally made me laugh out loud to the point where my cat woke up and glared at me:
How does Eric know this though? Did he just assume that the only way someone would voluntarily date Bill is because they had some of his blood? LOL BURN
I would laugh so hard if he was just guessing based solely on the fact that Bill is really lame and Bill just admitted to it right away.
This is now canon for me, ok? As soon as someone asks this anywhere, I'm going with this.
Hey! Thanks so much for another great picspam/commentary. I totally agree with most of what you said. In fact, the thing that bugged me the most about the last episode was the Lafayette/Sookie talk about Eric. Eric did NOT "force" Lafayette to take his blood. He may have had ulterior motives (the V sales? and getting in Sookie's good graces) but Lafayette's leg was infected! I was mad that they made Eric out to be such a bad guy. Sookie annoyed me the hell out of me during this conversation too because she was so anti-Eric. I know she is pissed about the bullet-sucking, but she just saw a really beautiful side of him and to act like he is a monster is just wrong. Lafayette's dreams may be terrible PTSD-stuff and super-sexual, but Sookie's dreams have been beautiful and INTIMATE (not super-sexual at all). There was no aknowledgement of this at all during the conversation. grrrrr.
Agree that Eric in Lettie-Mae dress was sexy as hell. To pull that off, AS must have mad skills in the hotness department (to quote you)! :)
I don't think she was necessarily anti-Eric per say. She was just like "yea in the past he totally needed to be slapped and I totally did it!" lol. And I think if I were her I wouldn't really want to talk about what a great guy Eric is in front of Lafayette, considering everything. Although they definitely shouldn't have made it seem like Eric giving Lafayette his blood was a bad thing. Because it was kind of an over-the-top AMAZING thing.
I don't think Sookie's really prepared to discuss the nature of her dreams with anyone just yet. haha but did you see her face?
LOL! I am sooooo over-sensitive when it comes to Eric :) I am in love-lust, what can I say?
You are right about Sookie not wanting to talk all lovely about Eric in front of Lafayette. The whole Eric-tricked-Lafayette-thing blindsided me, so I came away with a really negative feeling about that whole scene. Re-watching it on youtube has calmed me a bit :)
I was just hoping she would give some kind of look/sign that showed us that her dreams were a little different. Her face when she asked about the dreams was pretty cute, but they didn't show her reaction to Lafayette's description of his dreams-- so they kind of left that out there.
DresswearingEric, I would so hit that. Just lay the gun down sweetie.
How did Eric make the maenad=bullman connection? I thought that was weird - he's been back in town like a week and before that he had Godric stuff to take care of. When did he have time to investigate that?
I actually found it more odd that he didn't know that it was a maenad from the start. In the book series they all knew what attacked Sookie as soon as she was attacked. There was never any "What was that?" They just knew about it the way that Sophie-Anne knew about it.
I guess once Sam mentioned that there was a maenad in the area Eric knew at least enough about maenads to suspect that they could be a bullheaded creature. He just didn't know anything about how to get rid of it.
You mean, you think that Eric wasn't going to ask her how to defeat Maryanne? I'm sure he'll bring up other things, Eric and The Queen are colleagues after all, but since he gave Sam his word I'm sure he'll ask about the maenad like he said. I think Eric just told Bill because it doesn't really matter that much to him. lol
There has been a serious lack of Pam this season! That needs to be fixed next year most definitely!
you can't do better You could if he was naked! lol
I hope the finale is good, with lots of Eric. And if Eric/Sookie don't at least have one tiny interaction I'll be so annoyed. I need something to tide me over for all of these long bleak Eric-less months!

I think he knows more than he is telling.

I suspect both of them know something about the maenad and she knows about the V dealings.

She might know about the V dealings though.

I ♥ Pam, the show needs more Pam!
Yet again, Eric was the best thing about the episode - teacup humands and windswept hair, you can't do better :)
