lol those kids are totally going to have such hero-worship of Eric know that they've seen him fly. I hope they run into Merlotte's talking about how amazing Eric is to Sookie.
I think Sophie-Anne was a bit more...playful than I imagined her? But that's totally a good thing! I think she and Eric have a lot in common actually. Beyond just being powerful hot, and having hard ons for Stackhouses. ha
Would vampires still suck each other's blood during sex though? I'd think they'd be so used to it that they might. And the reason vampires don't usually have long term relationships is because too much blood sharing would be weird...
It would be really cool if she were still human though, because then we'd get to see her transformation into a vampire.
well, the Sophie-Ann goes on to say "the blood of an honest woman" or something like that. i don't think female vampires would be referred to has "human". but you make a good point.
They wouldn't, but she just said woman. I'd think they'd still refer to themselves as women. haha.
I hope we'll see in the next episode. I kind of want her to be human, because then we'd get to see more of her story unfold instead of just hearing about it after the fact in the books.
My week is complete now. I seriously love these picspams of yours!
I totally think that Eric was guessing about Bill and the blood. It was an educated guess, because, you know, Eric is awesome like that, but a guess nonetheless. And it's totally like Bill to play right into Eric's hands. Douche. As far as the V goes, if they created that subplot so that Bill would have some leverage over Eric I'm going to be SO PISSED. I refuse to believe that Eric would do something like that without the Queen's knowledge. It would make Eric look like an idiot and no one treats our beloved Viking that way. You hear that, Bill? God, I can't WAIT for Eric to put Bill in his place!
Yea, plus it's not like Sophie-Anne isn't even more ruthless than Eric so I think she'd probably approve of his under-handed methods (if you can call the V thing underhanded). I can't even think of a reason why that would bother her.
Maybe Eric is just BSing Bill. His face just seemed so...sincerely worried when Bill walked away. It was odd.
Why in the world would Sam even think to call Eric? Yes, Sam knows that Eric exists and owns Fangtasia because he came into Merlotte's once in season 1. But...he doesn't know anything else about him. I can't even remember if he knows that Sookie knows Eric.
I work on the theory that Sam, being two-natured, knows the vampire hierarchy. I don't recall him ever questioning Sookie as to the specifics of the things *she* has learned, and I think it's because he already knows. He obviously knows there are weres, and the books talk about inter-supe relations. So, I think he knows Eric is the Big Boss of Area 5 and would be the logical vampire to go to for help, if you're going to go to a vampire. And Coby is right, a vampire will probably know something.
Also, I'm willing to bet Tara Buck's (Ginger) audition was based almost solely on her ability to scream.
That actually makes a lot of sense! I could definitely buy that. Especially since Eric seemed to know about Sam and his impression of vampires too, I mean Eric does know everything but still...
I still think they should have some kind of line that revealed that though, but it definitely feels less odd now.
I hope one day we get to actually see him fly instead of just lift off into the air!

See, I think there are plot holes that are just way too big to be laziness or lack of attention on the part of the writers. I think a lot of them are set up so that later we go "Ohhhh, I see what you did there." This may be serious optimism on my part, but I'm willing to go with it.

I loved the recap. It is funny, you had some of the exact thoughts I had in regards to what is going on this season. I keep thinking that the show is sorta jumbling up the blood bond thing. I thought that the other part of it, that was very important and left out mind you, is that for the vampire to feel your emotions they have to drink *your* blood. Not you drinking thier's. Drinking the vamp's blood allows you to feel thier emotions and they can feel yours when they drink your blood. That was how it was sorta explained in the newest book, by Eric. He was telling Sookie how it was like creating a personal Reinfield (from Dracula) when you had too much of thier blood. They became completely useless if anything happened to the vamp or the vamp tired of them, then they would need to be put down. He also explains that this is why he he very rarely shares blood with humans (he even indicated that the last time he shared his blood may have been when he turned Pam) because that is when he, and other vamps, get more attached to the human

It's true, that part has always seemed at least a tad confusing to me even in the books. Like how much blood on either side causes the vampire to sense or feel emotions

ugh, I don't know. As long as they do something so that it makes sense later on because, right now, it doesn't HAHA.
"Seriously? What are the odds that they'd get a great actor who was actually 6'4 and actually Scandinavian (which most Vikings are). with this though, that is the whole thing. There are tons of 6'4 actors, some of them may even have looked a bit like book Eric, but the whole managing to find a guy who is actually Scandinavian and is able to get all the details down right? For me, that is a major win. I mean, he has even said in different interviews that the writers have had him translate the parts in Swedish cause they didn't know the language. I guess, for me anyway, he just seems to have a lot of the quirks down pat that makes the book Eric so awesome to me.....
