I made a scarf!

I'm trying to use up my yarn stash so I made a scarf today! I used white fluffy yarn with rainbow funfur added to it in stripes. I knit it longways - cast on about 170 stitches and only knit 18 rows. It's very long (hangs around my neck down to my knees almost) and thing (only the width of my hand). I like it a lot! It'll be good next winter for ( Read more... )

That is so pretty. I crocheted a few scarves last year, but they were really tightly done and ended up being wiggly. That, however, rocks!

Aww that's pretty. Technically I know (knew?) how to knit. But I never liked it (or was good at it). The only scarf I ever tried to knit never got any longer than 10 inches. :p

Actually this is the first scarf I've ever knit. Most people make a scarf for their first project, but I made a blanket instead.

I think I am going to make a matching hat!

That scarf is amazing! I love the colors! A matching hat MUST have a big multicolored ball on top like a mighty cunning Jayne Cobb hat. Yes.
