yes, its been eons since I've posted.
But first: why did noone tell me about Fringe? Its hilarious in that 'fake psuedo science but very shiny' way. I'm still in season 1, but am steadily making progress. Not sure how I missed this one while it was on. (okay, I do know, it's called 'grad school' and 'thesis' -

So I'm now in the San Francisco Bay area--nowhere near settled in, but my stuff is here (except my poor, lost iron I left in DC :*( ) A friend from LA is coming up to the UCLA/Stanford game, then we're heading into 'The City', as Eddie Izzard would say...and I can't believe how lucky all of this was.
