George had gotten herself a dress; she could probably have reused one she already had, and she was going to be horribly broke again very, very soon, but this seemed like the kind of occasion that called for wasting money.

The observatory looked ... well, breathtaking. George was not going to let herself be sad tonight. She was going to try to just soak in every last drop of this, to feel it, so she had something to hold on to when Seattle got lonely again.

"It's a picnic," she said with a smile. "That's so cool."

Jeremy had a nice vest, this time, with an equally nice pair of pants. Just slightly more casual than going for the entire suit thing.

He gave her a wide smile when she arrived, stepping closer. "Right? I hoped you'd like it."

His casual met up somewhere in the middle with her dressy. It all worked out nicely.

She slipped her arms around his neck. "I do," she said, still feeling all awkward that he'd set this up for her. And that he did nice things for her, like, ever, just ... going to the trouble like that. Well, that was what semi-boyfriends did, right? She might as well enjoy it.

Kisses first, thinking later.

"Is there wine?" she asked. "I don't know if I told you but I can seriously outdrink you. Guaranteed."

"I don't know," Jeremy murmured, since you know, lips and kisses and everything. His hands had automatically gone to her hips to pull her in. "I can drink kind of a lot."

Side effect of all of those parties he so liked.

"But yeah," he added, with another few little kisses sprinkled in between words, "there's definitely wine."
