Last Saturday, Clint and I went to see the World-Famous Lipizzaner Stallions (linky)
It was a most excellent performance filled with super-buff, well trained horses doing amazing maneuvers.
The best was the rearing while striking out with the front hooves, and the rearing and then leaping forward on the hind legs.  So amazing!

So I had a fabulous time at Norwescon.  I especially enjoyed learning how to make a chainmail pouch with Jamie, and attending the Hobbit Country Dancing workshop.  On Sunday, I went to the AmptGuard (sp?) demo and ended up battling opponents with foam weapons for three solid hours.  Today I can finally use most of my mussels without cringing ( Read more... )
