One of the things I've noticed as I've become more media-literate (conversant with techniques of presentation, common memes, etc.) is that my dreams and subconscious messages have gotten better cinematography.

I am, in fact, doing quite a bit better than when I wrote this.

The challenges in my marriage stem principally from the other difficulties; she is, understandably, exhausted by not getting enough help meeting our financial goals, not seeing me sustainably employed in a fulfilling way, and not seeing me making enough changes to try and escape from these traps. But we're seeing some progress in all these areas at the moment, and she very much wants to support me and see things get fixed, as do I. I'm more optimistic than not at the moment.
