I'm finally warming my mate up to the idea of us getting an apartment together. There's still some time, as he wants to at least work through the Christmas season at his current location before seeing about getting a transfer. Well, the 1st party LJ client broke
So I'm trying out a 3rd party app called ElJay. It's much faster. Problem I had with the official app is waaaay too many force closes. -
Weird dream
So after weeks of sleep deprivation, my body finally forced me to get 12 hours of sleep, along with a really weird dream that kinda scared me. I was at a party in someone's condo on the top floor of a tall tower, and the wind was making it sway. A lot. So much so that it kept bumping into buildings next to it. Finally an LJ android app
Well, there's been an app for a while, but until recently, only let you post. No way to see your friends list. They finally updated it to see the list and make comments, so hopefully I'll be around here more. :3

Silly dream
Weirdest dream I've had in a while last night. I was watching a cartoon that seemed like a Thundercats spinoff. It was called Tigeroy, and set in modern times. The main character was an anthro tiger with a funky DBZ-sized hairstyle, and he kept an insane multi-bladed sword in his hair like Nabeshin with some kind of Klingon fro pick. XD ( Read more... ) -
Visit to Canada to see Marineland and Niagara Falls (pictures as well)
Had an amazing time today. Am visiting Mystic Orca in Buffalo, NY for this off-work period, and he got some vacation time off as well, and for today, we decided to head into Canada and see an orca and do touristy stuff. ^^ It was grey and dreary when we hit the road this morning, but the sun came out and the weather got really nice for the ( Read more... ) -

Woo, first fillup
Finally bought my forst tank of gas for the new car. Tiny-ass 12 gallon tank, but got almost 400 miles on it. I think I averaged 37mpg, and that's with a ton of dallas traffic jam crap. Next time I have a major road trip, I'll see if I can break the 40mpg mark then ( Read more... )
