Got a little extra time off due to the other driver not getting in till 3 today. Was supposed to be back at work yesterday morning. But week off is over. Wish I could drag my mate with me on a trip in the truck. That would make the job quite a bit more tolerable, lol.

Got to layover in Cape Girardeau, Missouri last night, and Ozymandias ( silent_o,)was able to pick me up. Got some good mexican food at a locally owned place that made an amazing chorizo burrito, and a good local beer. Went to his place afterward for a long session of Archer on Netflix, and then got to meet his mate Lupercus ( lupercuswhtwolf).

So, I had some cheap grocery store sushi, and the wasabiwas really hot, and not in a good way. So to cool myself off, I made a white russian. With almond milk. I love almond milk, but damn is it nasty mixed with booze and sushi.

As luck would have it, I was able to stop for the night in Minneapolis and Nauta, a friend who lives in the area, came to pick me up at the truck stop in his awesone little 1987 Fiat X1/9 . that's the first time I've ever been in a mid-engine 2-seater Italian sports car, and that thing is fun! Wow, today was pretty good for knocking out my depression. Spent the whole day in the gay district of Dallas watching the gay pride parade with friends. It drizzled the whole time, but we had umbrellas.
