WHO: Christine Chapel; Jim Kirk (OPEN/INCOMPLETE) WHAT: Kirk relies on Chris's talented hands. Y'know. To treat his cut. WHEN: After taking off from the starbase. WARNINGS: None as of yet. ( Doctor, doctor, gimme the news, I gotta... )
Kirk had never really been given a reason to worry about gossip. There were no rules or regulations regarding fraternization between Starfleet personnel, thank god, and he was able to do what he so pleased on his own ship. Something about being the captain pretty much made him impenetrable unless someone used someone against him, which was why the fact that he was nearly unable to really love someone in the normal way made him near invincible. He still worried about other's positions, however, and he tried not to brag about his exploits too much

"I try." He snorted, laughing a bit at himself. Because yeah. He really was a charmer when he wanted to be, and it....made women talk to him. Somehow flirting with them had a tendency to make them act more friendly, more open around him. Even if they really had no intention of sleeping with him, not at all, ever. Which Christine probably wouldn't. And if she did, that would be a Very Bad Thing, one of which Kirk was trying to remind himself at every opportunity. He was not going to sleep with Bones's girl, not ever in a million years. Unless...
No, never.
"So you DID want to see it?" He couldn't help but smirk. And damn, there it was, flirting again. "It's okay. I thought it was hot too."
Kirk just liked having his ego stroked. Well, anything stroked, really. He was a handsy sort of person. But he had always had a pretty healthy dose of self-esteem, at least on the outside of things.
"Look - we went flying down towards a planet that was about to implode on itself. A half second away from breaking into a million pieces. And all of a sudden we land on top of each other in the transporter." Kirk tried to explain just HOW hot it was, and it made him feel a little funny about what had happened between him and Sulu only a day ago on the bridge. "Hell. I was happy to be alive, he was too. Adrenaline was freaking racing through our veins. We're both attractive people -- it just...sorta...happened."
He shrugged idly. "I did kinda get why you kicked us how, though. Made sense."
Leonard wasn't one to make house calls, so he most certainly had not been off doing that. What had he been doing? Attempting to find Spock. He still had to give that goblin a piece of his mind, and he felt refreshed and grumpy enough to do so. So he'd count his time away down as a break. Unsuccessful in finding him, he settled for lunch, which he'd eaten as he walked. He'd taken a cookie with some terribly girly pink icing back too, as a little gift of sorts for Christine

Yeah, Bones'd probably shout a little more if he found Kirk doing something in his medbay. Kirk caught the empty threat, chuckling softly. "I'm just saying..." He murmured, rubbing the back of his head. "It wasn't like I planned it, y'know?" The captain leaned casually on his good hand, amused. "You can kick me out of medbay any time if there happens to be a repeat performance."
He was a little caught off guard by the entering of someone else in the room, not really wanting to say something else if the two of them weren't alone. He had nothing to be afraid of, not really, but the idea of the nurses being gossiping harpies hadn't exactly escaped him
