i know you are feeling down, but you are an amazing girl and you shouldn't give up so easily. you'll make it through...and you'll be in my thoughts too.
thank you ... i'm fine, honestly, i really am ... like you said, i'll make it through ... i just go up and down like a bloody yoyo, that's all. but i'm fine (fuckedupinsecureneuroticandemotional). and you're amazing too ... i hope you're going alright ... i shall have to off and check your blog! xx
i think we've just got to learn to ignore the hypocrisy of our friendship, okay? acknowledge that its there; but that its got no basis in reality, & that we honest to god would not wish what we live with upon the other. because princess, this entry scares me. i'm so scared about what you're doing to yourself. scared that one day i'm not going to hear from you, & i'll call you & call you & there'll be no answer... & what the fuck do i do?
there will be an answer. i promise. pain doesn't equal death. and i let the world know, in my own little way, that i firmly draw that line and that i will refuse to go past it.
and somehow, in that little way that i met you, and met charlie, and found my unit, i know i won't be gone. i swear to you katie, i won't. i'm too damn stubborn, anyway.
I was reading your blog starvingthin and all you guys that comment here seem really nice, unlike many other blogs. I was too afraid to ask this anywhere else because i'm sure they would think i'm an idiot..
Starvingthin From what i've read you go to the gym. I was wondering what exercises you do and how many calories you burn in one session.
I know i sound stupid but i dont know if what i am burning is a good amount, average or my efforts are just worth laughing at.
the lovely girlies who post in my LJ are all really lovely ... xx to them all!
my name's katie, and with the gym ...i get a bit obsessional when i get there (compared to the "norm") ... one or two hours every day ... calories depend on what you do, and whether what you burn is a "good amount" depends on what you eat; average intake for a girl my age (18) exercising is around 2000 calories a day, and it's recommended to do a minimum of thirty minutes most days (not necessarily at the gym).
I use weights and do the treadmill because building muscle = raising resting metabolic rate = burn more fat; but it changes depending on how i'm feeling. Exercise should never be painful; until you are sweating but can still hold a conversation is usually a good indication your doing enough. I hope this helps! Katie, Lindsey, Laura; anyone? Anything further to add to what I've said?
