Sam is getting sick now. I've been pretty careful with the hand washing and not sneezing and coughing all over him or his stuff so we're thinking he got it from work. I was hoping he'd escape it. :( We haven't even been kissing each other goodbye in the morning when he leaves for work or good night. Oh well. At least we both feel weird about it.

I have the flu. I caught it from my dad the last couple days we were in WA. So, I'm really pretty right now. Super snotty and sneezy. So I'm sleeping downstairs on the couch tonight. I felt bad for waking Sam up last night so I'm hoping I won't keep him up down here. I can only sleep for a couple hours at a time anyway.

We open our presents on Christmas Eve. I got the Bluetooth keyboard I wanted and some amazing diamond earrings. I've never had something so fancy. I love them. I love Sam. We were talking to Reijo's moms who finally get to get married after being together for 27 years. Sam leaned over and said, I won't make you wait 27 years."

Sitting on the couch of Brad and Aly's house. We're watching Elf with them and their daughter Genevieve. Also following the Seahawks game. They're kicking ass.

We spent most of the day helping my parents get ready for tomorrow. Then we went downtown and had a drink and a snack at Pike Place Market.

We're at my parents' house. This year is our 7th anniversary and it's my parents' 37th.

It's nice to be here. We had Chuck's donuts for breakfast and teriyaki for lunch. I've missed both of those things very much. My parents are in good spirits. So is Sam. So is Sativa.

I just have to say how cool it is to be accepted by Sam's family. Hank posted on my wall that they got the presents we sent and signed it "Love Dad". It made me super cheery. He hated Sam's ex-wife and doesn't like Gabe's fiancée. It really does feel like I have a bigger extended family.

So Sam went over to see what was up with that guy who said he was going to kill himself. When he got there, there were three other chicks from the shop sitting with him. He just wanted to have people over for a pity party.
