Madi gras was amazing as expected. The day after was amazing too.

But now I'm in one of those weird in between phases. Where nothing particularly exciting is going on, but nothing horrible is happening either. Life is just kind of there...

So I'm going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans this weekend. Which should be lots of fun. I'll write after and let you know. :D

Being back in the US is really strange. My first day back when I came out of the airplane and saw Americans everywhere it felt soooo weird. Because Americans have such a distinct way about them. But that night, when I went to sleep, I really felt that I had an understanding of my place in the world. It felt really good. I don't want to lose that

Last night was the most insane night of my life. :) Finals tomorrow yikes, totally not ready. Oh well, such is life.

So, I'm going to London next weekend. I'm really excited about it since I've never been before. I'll be there from this Thursday to Sunday. It always weirds me out to leave spain and to be able to speak to people in English. And best of all, I get to see my amazing friend Emily. :D

I went to a vegan festival tonight. It was really cool, but I left in the middle of the first speaker because I didn't understand that much of what he was saying. I bought two shirts defending animals in Spanish lol. But the food was amazing and I met some people from the US. So it was a good night.
