You could write a play :D I think the best way to learn how to write is to read other writers. Have you read any plays that you really enjoy? Tennessee Williams is pretty great...although I've been meaning to read some Neil LaBute plays (particularly Fat Pig).
You should listen to Marie, she is (or was rather) a professional writer after all.
And so was I.
First off, just write your shit down. Don't worry about making it perfect, just get it written. Then go back and read it over, and fix things as you go. You'll probably go through this process several times before you are "done", and even then, no writing is ever truly finished.
I strongly agree with what Marie says, you best learn to write by reading.
