So, this is kind of weird and I don't know whether I've missed the entire point or not, or perhaps I'm just writing around it. Either way. This may be a bit different than what most are saying.

I Tortured Souls and I Liked It: A Perhaps Slightly Different Take on 4.21 )

I agree 10000000000%. Really, really, really. With every word you said. I want to link this for the entire world to read but I won't because it's locked. BUT GOODNESS GRACIOUS, YES.

Lol, I've opened it up because I want opinions. So pimp it if you want. I still don't know if I've just twisted everything to fit some perspective but, hey, nice to hear you don't think I'm insane. ^^

That's the thing, though, Dean was calling him a monster even before Cas showed up. I agree that Sam's withdrawal symptoms were scary, but I think Dean's not wanting to feed him blood just to slowly ween him off the stuff despite the fact that doing it that way might not kill him was based more in what Sam was becoming with the blood in him than without it. That's just such an extreme position to take when going the middle road is clearly the better idea. And I think it's hard to make a case (outside of his addiction) for Sam himself having changed all that much from actually ingesting the blood. I don't think it was the right thing to do and yeah, I think it'll royally backfire in his face because clearly, it hasn't enhanced his natural abilities, it's replaced them. But I think Dean's idea that somehow the Sam he's looking at is not Sam is completely false - the fact that he was able to track him should have told him that ( ... )

lol. I don't know why I'm not upset about this - I mean, I am but for really different reasons and. I dunno. Am I looking at this the wrong way? Sure, Dean has reason to be worried but it's like he's refusing to see what's right in front of his face. He'd rather have his brother dead then do something sensible like slowly ween him off the blood? What? NO. No, you do NOT get to say that.

Just...grrr. I'm supposed to be a DEAN GIRL here and I'm pissed. It's not that don't think Ruby's a lying liar who lies because I'm sure she is and I'm decently sure she's leading Sam into a trap. But isn't that all the more reason to GO WITH HIM? Just- THESE BOYS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZYCAKES HERE!

Dude, you overanalyze.

But srsly, I didnt cry either and Im certainly not going to. Im saving all my tears for J2 wedding. I find it...mildly disturbing to cry watching a horror shoiw, even though Im not a senseless log, I did feel for Dean, a LOT. And some for Sam, too. Untill he went to suck on Ruby's limbs. Ummm. Yeah.

But yeah...Dean was...a bit too hard on Sammy, and Sammy was too scared to think with his brains...and we have a huge rift between them.

You think? I dunno. Maybe - its been known to happen, lol.

That's the thing. Maybe I'm just a a terrible person but I'm not feeling all that much for Dean right now. Because just - how has Sam been a monster this season? I mean, give the guy some credit- when Dean offered to go after him with Lilith provided Sam didn't bring his only weapon - I mean, the last time they did that, Dean ended up being ripped apart by hellhounds in front of Sam while Lilith laughed and watched. Dean's really given Sam no reason to think it's going to be different except that the angels say it will be. The angels are not looking good here considering they're supposed to be so powerful and yet they can't stop ONE demon? Dean said he didn't have a choice, he did and he just won't own up to it.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just completely heartless but it's like Dean's looking at Sam and refusing to see anything but what he wants to see. And that bugs me.

...dude, maybe I'll save my tears with you, though. And just leave all my ire here.

Aren't you leaving out MATEOTB, where Sam went after Lilith, who was just about to kill him for his cockiness, until Dean saved his ass.

"Dean's looking at Sam and refusing to see anything but what he wants to see." Same with Sam too. Those two are stubborn idjits. Ha they're definitely brothers.
