How many can one person really live?

I had everything.
Not simultaneously,
but rather sequentially;
and until this becoming,
I was alright with that.

So I thought...

Tattoos that symbolized now memorialize;
two years in, now two years out...
two reflections depict a past,
once unequivocal, now unforgiven.

2017: This monologue certainly needs revision...

To train oneself to alter our state of mind is to forfeit love's rawest form.

To modify our behaviors is to abandon purity. If continuous thinking of action brings forth reinforcement, this is to say that we can manifest something as pure as love.

Love, which is worth the obscure translations of life until we stop living it.
