Mom is doing pretty well. First chemo session was Monday. Tuesday evening through noon Wednesday were apparently rough, but not that bad by chemo standards. Driving resumed minorly on Wednesday afternoon, and in earnest on Thursday. Had a DarkCon dream last night. I don't think that's happened before April before. I have no idea what Urgent Task I was helping with, but it was clearly at Con and seemed to be going well, if we calibrate "well" for "Urgent Tasks performed during a DarkCon game".

While I'm posting about theatrical doings, the Orpheum has Fiddler on the Roof from 5 - 10 May, in a production featuring Topol. 10 May is Mother's Day, which means I'll need a weeknight performance. There is no conceivable excuse for it to have taken 21 months, but whittled_writ has now completed Genesis. The conversation that started the whole thing involved Exodus, which also (as I recall) has much more of a condensable narrative than does much of Genesis - and also is only 40 chapters instead of 50 - so it's reasonable to think it won't take as long.

I was a little wary to try a hibachi attached to an established, not-particularly-exceptional, Chinese establishment, but A-Tan was convenient and I'd heard good things.
