Today was a pretty good day. There was an extremely long line of traffic when I left for work, but I managed to slide over a street and only be 10 minutes late to work instead of 20 (which really only gave me a chance to listen to more music, so it was a good thing). It's too hot!
98.4° is far too hot for slide-taking. But I got it done. That's one of the only crappy things about being an art student. Taking slides. Especially since NO ONE CARRIES SLIDE FILM ANYMORE! I went to Target and the Evil Empire™, and no slide film. So I stopped by CVS and found some. It had been there so long, it was dusty. And it expires this month ( Read more... ) -
Grooving on down in a knapsack, suuuuuuperlative day!
Today I had my first official bass lesson, which was great. The place was recommended to me by several people (namely PtotheNut from work), plus your first lesson was free, so I figured I had nothing to lose. Didn't mention it last night...for obvious reasons...but the regulator that controls the power windows on my driver's side window is broken. I rolled the windows down on the way out of my apartment complex yesterday, and the bloody window wouldn't roll back up. Aaargh. I'm so glad school's almost over. I love my classes, and I think I've done some decent work this semester, but all my time seems to get eaten up between projects and work.
