I’m an internet stalking pedophile.

I’m the bad guy, but this is a new low even for me.

What is it about librarians, do you think, that makes them prone to such superiority? I know a librarian, personally, and she is an obnoxious know it all. Then there is the librarian down the street from my work, I go at lunch sometimes, that always, always glares at me and speaks rudely to me. Oh wait, I know what it is! They come out of college, like after 10 years, and realize they are not going to get paid jack shit for all that schooling they just had. I think it is probably the most disproportionate education to earnings field out there.
More importantly than all that though, I think you take all that stereotyping rather well. It must be difficult to remain calm sometimes and not let the irritation at the assumptions people make get to you too much.
I like big guys. :) I like it when someone can pick me up and toss me around like a little kid. It's fun!

Jamie is a librarian. She worked her way through college by grooming animals. She's adopted a pair of abused cats and grooms her family's pets. Her boss, Guy, is a decent fellow. The thing with obnoxious people is they never see the consequences of their actions coming until it's too late. They don't value the common decency they're missing.

When I was aboard the Constellation we had a particularly obnoxious Chief in the compartment forward of ours. This guy was a true twit, and one day he was jacked in the parking lot when we were pier-side. He was walking to his car when someone snuck up behind him and bludgeoned him with a length of pipe.

Of course no one helped him or saw anything, though he was theoretically in view of the ship’s watch. He was ( ... )

I've decided that I've neither patience nor pity for the ignorant. There's no excuse for that malady -- not in this country.

My friend Jamie kicked ass: Security is no longer allowed to remove patrons without approval from the librarian on duty unless it's life or death. She made it clear to all the librarians I was welcomed guest. She's earned extra chocolate this Halloween.

The caller whom I was making uncomfortable has decided to remain anonymous.
