Why does the job market suck so?
So I've been spamming apps down south to try and have a job before I move, and the only people who've followed up on anything -- besides an auto-generated reception confirmation email -- is another staffing agency that was hoping to place me at TD Banknorth in Falmouth. Oh, hey... I still have this thing.
Not much has been happening, really. Work is still work, even though I changed departments at BBY#531 two weeks ago (I sell computers now). Still waiting to hear back from Grad School, but it's hard to stay optimistic at this point. Friends are good, and there's always somebody trying to do something with me. ( Read more... ) -

It's even better when I mean it.
Last night, I went out to a friend's place with a couple of my other friends from work. We played guitar, Wii, beer pong, and talked music. He's the guy who's starting a band, and supposedly we're going to start doing gigs in the Southern Maine area ( Read more... ) -

Been a good couple of days. Both jobs have been manageable, despite the 80-ish hours I worked. Greg came down for the weekend, and he had a bunch of good news. Long story short, maybe by April I'll be moving to Portland or Falmouth with him. A beer was had over dinner with the revelation ( Read more... ) -
Pros/Cons... Grr...
So there's plusses and minuses to having two jobs. The obvious plus (having more money) is nice and helping me out of a bit of debt I've accumulated. The obvious minus (having no time to spend said money) is manageable, too, because not only do I have more money to pay down my debts, but I've made a couple of friends at work who work my same ( Read more... ) -
