"Mr. Auditore."
The boy nodded in the direction of the door when it opened, by way both of greeting and of answering the man's question. His frame moved forward some on the bed as he said as much. This moved him helpfully into the soft light coming in through the door...and made the urge to drift to sleep against the cold wall and hard mattress a little weaker. Late nights were not a strength of his.
"Come in and have a seat. It didn't sound like our contact gave you any details, so we need to discuss matters, before anything else. He didn't tell you anything?"

"I don't know anything." He shook his head slightly but kept the hood up, not willing to lower it just yet. "Only that you have need of me, and that I am to fulfill this mission and bring the results back to him." Though what a child would need of him was unusual. A way out? They all wanted a way out. He gave Ciel a long, careful look from under his hood, eyes flicking toward the door every so often.

Ciel half-considered not explaining it all, yet. The task was a simple one, and it would save time to head out now, instead of working through the man's possible questions and worries. But he might balk at treatment like that. Ah, well.
"I want a look inside the staff's offices here - one of the doctors'. The guards don't seem to pay attention to the patients' cells at night, but we don't know how closely they watch the other parts of the asylum. So, someone needs to keep a look-out and handle anyone who interrupts my search."
The youth lifted himself off the bed, now, slowly standing up. He could hardly look down at Ezio even from this position, but the change couldn't hurt.
"Can you manage that?"

Four years could lead to a lot of knowledge.
"Yes, without a problem." Or so he assumed. Of course he could fight with his bare hands, but he still missed the presence of the hidden blade. "The doctors would be away from their offices at night, presumably, but in the off-chance the one you investigate is, do you intend to call off the search?" It didn't hurt to know ahead of time what to expect, where they were going to go.
