Potty training takes time but it'll be worth it for her to do it on her own. I'm sure forcing her might scare her, so I say just let it be natural.

i just hate hearing older parents ask "is she potty trained yet??" and when i say no they look at me like i am doing something wrong like i'm a bad parent. one said (not knowing Taylar isn't potty trained)"if your child is not potty trained by a year old it is because you are lazy and don't want to take the time out to make them do it." i mentioned there are a lot of kids that need more time to adjust or they might have problems using the bathroom even with diaper on. she replied "90% of the time it is because the parents are lazy and don't want to deal with the trouble." it makes me feel so stupid. fucking people!

It's so amazing to watch little kids grow. Rocco (Sergio's little brother) shocks me every time I see him; it seems as if he's grown five inches and learned twice as much. The most common advice I hear is to not push kids into potty training because of the pressure that it puts on them, and there's always the theory that if you tell a child to do something, he/she will do the exact opposite. My sister potty trained earlier than my brother, which I hear is a common trend too, and she potty trained at twenty months.

Everyone seems to be sick right now. All my residents have been sick; throwing up, fevers, you name it. I hope you're feeling better<3
