I totally agree with your "just do it" philosophy! However, don't you think the new year is a good time to reevaluate what you have done over the past year, and decide how you need to change? Should we not look to the past, learn from our mistakes and set goals for the future? My new years resolution last year was to watch more Jon Stewart, as he made me laugh and helped me recap the days events in a non-depressing way. This year, my resolution is to take vitamins (iron, b/c I am a bit anemic and therefore always tired) and to take more risks. I am making a concious effort to change my personality and lifestyle in order to enhance the time I have hear. My reccomendation, Randall, is to not dwell in the past, or look only to the future, but instead to find a medium, where the present can be a productive, learning enviornment.
