Sooo... seems like I'm a bit behind on my blog posts! Last Sunday, I went to Blarney, a village not very far from Cork. Blarney is known amongst tourists (and locals) for its castle, Blarney Castle (what an original name!). Anyway, I took the bus to Blarney and when I came there, I just followed the flow of tourists. Celtic history fascinates me, too. When I was in Dublin, we went to this old Abbey close to the city, and there were these huuuuge Celtic crosses. So beautiful. *sigh* I think I'm starting to like Cork better than Dublin, though. It's a friendlier, lovelier city.

Yeah, I can understand that. There are some towns that are just friendlier and nicer. Take Stockholm for an example, some parts of it are really beautiful but it's big, noisy, crowdy and the people aren't friendly at all. I prefer Gothenburg over Stockholm everyday. It's a much nicer city. I like Kalmar the most, though.

Zo zie je maar dat de weg naar het parlement soms via slinkse en onsmakelijke paden kan gaan. Trouwens de toeristenbureaus zullen je ook zeer dankbaar zijn. Wat een prachtig land. Je maakt geweldig mooie foto's, waardoor wij een heel goede indruk krijgen en als het aan Marjan ligt..... doet ze er als extra vakantie een keer Ierland bij.
