Just a little update to let you know I’m doing all right. I’ve survived my first two exams, finished my first paper, and am currently studying hard for the upcoming five exams and two papers. I haven't updated in ages - I realize that - but I'm still alive (and doing very well indeed). Stories describing my adventures in Dingle and the Wicklow Mountains (where I went the weekend after my trip to Dingle) will soon be posted, plus I hope to get some pictures up as well! I'm going on a trip! We've rented a car and will be spending the weekend in Dingle Bay, Kerry. I'll e-mail you back/reply/etc. on Sunday or Monday, depending on what time we get back. Have to go get some groceries now! -

I have to say I've had a very eventful weekend! Last Friday was the International Students Party at the Qube... but before going there, we had dinner at Jules's. Qube's a night club in the city centre, and it was especially fun because there were so many familiar faces there! Timetable
Well... our unit is now complete! The last flat mate is a guy called Frank, and he's from Dublin. He's very nice! I just watched The Ring with him and Steve, and I can't say that I found it very scary. I jumped maybe once, but it was OK, overall. Anyway, it was fun, watching it with them. Orientation: Day 1
Well, this will probably be a relatively short entry. My first day of Orientation was yesterday, and it was absolutely brilliant. I've met up with Ellen, and we've met another very nice Dutch girl (Linda) as well. A Rainy Day in Cork...

Kissed the Blarney Stone
Sooo... seems like I'm a bit behind on my blog posts! Last Sunday, I went to Blarney, a village not very far from Cork. Blarney is known amongst tourists (and locals) for its castle, Blarney Castle (what an original name!). Anyway, I took the bus to Blarney and when I came there, I just followed the flow of tourists.
