Paranoia

I think I gave myself cancer. Ok... I know that really isn't possible. But the other day, when I was working with radioactive P... I totally forgot to wear a lab coat... and radioactive P can go through skin... So now I'm worried that my arm has cancer... What if I screwed up my hematopoietic stem cells in my arm?? eeeeeh!!! Scary Radioactive P!! i'd be scurred too.. how long have u been exposed? err! okay, my asking questions doesn't help with the paranoia, rite? but i'm pretty sure u'll be okay, and it's just paranoia speakin.

You know.. Trying to figure out how to go to at least 5 weddings next year was enough to make clear to me how single I am and will probably be.. but I'm glad that you felt the need to point it out too...

On a completely different note, when I told my parents about my irradiating myself it apparently reminded my mom of how one of her friends in med school (who produced 3 children, by the way), once put some radioactive substance in his pocket because they didn't tell him how to properly transport it.

Are those kids deformed in anyway? Uh oh, will I be capble of having kids since I had that radioactive junk in lab one time? AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Indeed, no. The kids are perfectly normal... well.. physically that is.. or at least from what is plainly visual. They all have the proper number of limbs and eyes and such. As for other things... well... the 2 eldest are 31 and 29 or thereabouts... and they argued on Easter about whether or not you can buy unstuffed ravioli. But I assume that's more because that's who they are as opposed to radioactive things affecting their development. But who knows?
