Apologies this is so late. I've been a bit sick lately. Temperature's come down from 39.5C on Tuesday night (yes, the day of the HP premiere, but I'd already paid for tickets so I wasn't going to miss it, plus I didn't actually feel that ill and I wasn't coughing or sneezing) to about 37.5C today (but I'm coughing like crazy now).

HBP THOUGHTS IN BRIEF )

LMFAO Sparkling cortch isn't that some kind of symptom of a STD? xD Draco should get that checked out.

I totally agreee with all the points you made in this. I think we're pretty much in the same field but how could they BOTCH THE DAMN MEMORIES? AGHHHH And I hated the way the pensieve worked. They did it fine in the 4th movie I don't know why they changed it. -___-'';

The cave scene was so AMAZING. I always had a hard time imagining it in the book because I don't know it was a little awkward reading it. But I felt they really did it well illustrating the cave and all. :D

That Pensieve looked so shallow; my Starbucks cup probably held more liquid. And yeah! What happened to the one in GoF? It was beautiful!

Definitely. Cave scene was one of the highlights. I have to admit, I knew the Inferi were coming, but when that hand just shot out of the water, I nearly jumped out of my seat! And then when Dan's head burst through the water with the flames everywhere...wow...

I saw it last night finally, and well... mixed feelings. Overall I liked it, but some moments were pure WTF. The ending was what saved it for me, though! Basically from the cave scene on I was pleased. (Or make that Albus, Snape and Draco were awesome. Also Tom Riddle - wow, he was perfect.)
And I love your chart hardcore since it's so succint. XD

Tonks/Lupin isn't explained at all...
What the hell was up with that, yes. I'm going to keep the long version for my own post later but in short, I see they wanted to include this somewhere since they've axed both the funeral and the hospital scene, but this way they've botched up Remus's characterization completely. Yeah, sure, make him someone who gets over grief like it's nothing in a few months at the most, go ahead! Not to mention it's already screwing with his characterization in DH. Epic fail here.

The colour palette of the whole filmI loved that. It couldn't have been more fitting ( ... )

Yep! Mini-mort is my collective term for the two awesome boys who played Tom Riddle (did you know that one of them's actually Big-mort's nephew?) Glad you like the chart ^_ ( ... )

I didn't know that! But yeah, awesome acting there.

Honestly, I'm indifferent about Remus/Tonks. I'd just have preferred if they'd kept it where it was in the book, not randomly switch it to places where it made no sense. But you're right, they missed out on making a nice reference.

What's wrong with those people? Half the point of that movie is that it's not, you know, happy-go-lucky with colours suitable for that. These were more "artistic", in any case.

Heh, I don't know if I have the resources right now, but it sounds awesome. That "no dressing up" rule is ridiculous, though, even if I understand where it came from. Another of those instances when there are a few incidents and the rest of us have to pay for it...

yeah, i feel like they played it too safe with this movie... i didn't feel sad at dumbledore's death!!!! there is something wrong with the movie if it didn't emotionally motivate me even to a sniffle.
Bella kind of made my life. Actually, so did Snape. That one scene during Slughorn's Christmas party when Snape shoves Draco into the wall and Draco shouts that he doesn't need protection is priceless. Ahhh, ♥ unintentional slash!

OMG Bella didn't WALK anywhere, she literally DANCED AND SANG. It was awesome. And she was really hot as well, in a way.

LOL I DID NOT SEE THAT SLASH, ACTUALLY. I WILL TELL DESIREE, SHE WILL BE EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HAPPY...

Thaaaaaankyou :)
Yeah I'm almost back to normal. In fact my appetite came back today so I was eating like a horse again...and I started trying to dance through the house like I typically do...
I just get an occasional coughing fit now and then. But apart from that...yay!
