Okay, I gave you a link above, but what do you need help with when it comes to coloring?

I don't know how people decide what will make a graphic vibrant. I mean, when you look at a tutorial, they use a specific picture and they talk about adjusting red and yellow to this and that and then they show a dullish starting cap and a bright, vibrant ending cap but that technique wouldn't translate to another cap so I guess it's the thought process behind what to adjust that I would find helpful.

Like, people say WHAT they did but not WHY they decided that was the way to go, if you know what I mean?
