Oh, I love this show so much.

I was e-mailing scarletts_awry during the commercial breaks, so here's some disjointed commentary based on -- and expanded from, since I was vague in certain places to avoid spoiling my sweetie before she watches the episode -- those real-time reactions.

I have to say, this episode made me start thinking Nate/Eliot-flavored thoughts, and I'm not really sure why. Maybe it was Eliot's "You're not a thief" at the end, or that Sophie thinks Eliot will want to know what Nate has under his bed, I don't know.

I agree with you about the two final scenes; Parker making the portrait dance just about killed me, but Nate leaving the money and the drink was quiet and perfectly played.

Oh my GLEE. That was wonderful! The Pakistan exchange cracked me the hell up. I am very curious about Nate's mob connections. The last scene with Sophie was very ow, but the bit in Nate's apartment afterwards was brilliant. I love the running gag with the painting. And I am very much looking forward to the Parker/Hardison stuff this season. They are so adorable! Hardison taught her air quotes! People are like locks!

I love my TEAM. They love each other so much!

Really the only thing I didn't like was the "wolves in the world" sequence in the hospital; it felt a bit heavy handed. But the kid was cute and not annoying, so I can live with it. Besides, sometimes Nate needs a clue-by-four.

Yes! Welcome back, show!

I love how awesomely well attuned they all are by now, and really enjoyed their team play to get Nate back into the boat. Although it is gonna be sad to see his hard-earned new life slip from his hands again. Well, and equally hilarious, I suspect. And I totally agree about Timothy Hutton, the man is a pleasure to watch in every sense.
