And what a beautiful "ending" it is. You created another masterpiece with this one, using a few incredibly difficult roads to get there, in the story points you chose. But you wrote it wonderfully throughout and the final image- even with each of their respective uncertainties and issues in place- is gorgeously peaceful and wholly satisfying.

Thank you for another wonderful journey.

Of course this isn't a "real" ending -- there is no happy ever after -- but it was as far as I wanted to take them. Glad you enjoyed it.

UGH!..... I was scared this might be your last Huddy story...so I held on to it, grasping tight to your House and Cuddy, thinking maybe Steveny will find another story/angle she can run with ( ... )

It's most likely not the last story I'll write.

Glad you enjoyed it.

This was a phenomenal concluding chapter.

The schtick with the members of the team is so very, very funny. It's the sort of intelligent banter and carping that one does expect to hear amongst very bright young doctors.

The scene on the balcony exactly captured the love and tenderness that one saw in this couple. And, again, great comedy - loved Cuddy's "Let me know what you decide" and - especially the little dig in - "Wishful thinking isn't exactly your strength".

The final scene at the park is a beautiful ending: the mix of silliness (fitting in the remark about the letter to Napoloen's tailor was brilliantly Housian), and all the remaining ambiguities and unresolved threads.

...OK - no sequel to this particular story BUT please continue to write for Huddy: you do so truly brilliantly! It's a way in which you do a little good for the world :-)

There has to be a combination of loose ends and finished story lines, and there can be no easy answers, but this was as close to a conclusion as I could bring them. Glad you enjoyed it.

What can one say but that you have wrapped this up wonderfully? Just like life, there are endings and beginnings, with all sorts of uncertainties for the future. Will House have the surgery? It seems so, in that final ambiguous sentence. His continued surprise and delight that he has Cuddy 'for keeps' is beautifully expressed without getting mushy and he's the same outrageous personality in essence.
Your stamina and your skill both amaze me. You've given us all such a great deal of pleasure all this time and I'm sure we look forward greedily to your next House outing.

PS I think "grossocities" is a wonderful word. You may want to change typo Werner to Warner.

Thanks for picking up the typo. I'm glad it wasn't too ambiguous for you; I just couldn't see a way to a typically "off into the sunset" type ending.
