Thanks -- that part was fun to write, because you can imagine what a jerk House would have to be to make April want to throw something at him.

OMG. Maybe the best Shark Verse chapter ever. House really doesn't know how to behave. To see or show honest love. Him equating Cuddy and her anger with John. Fuck, it broke my heart.

House lashing out about his car.....

“Okay, then,” she said with a stiff nod. “I guess I’ll have to teach you. Emotionally Present and Supportive 101, coming up. First lesson, after dinner tonight.” House's sigh of relief..... (tears for me)~ We really get to see and understand Cuddy's love for House.

Finally, Fitzu ? (sp)

Glad you liked this chapter -- Fizzou does show up in this fic, and so does a very confounded House.

This was another amazing chapter, in what my gut is telling me is going to be one of your very best stories (I confess to having read the Prologue many, many times).

I love the way that you capture the little details of their lives. And how you show that House continues to observe every little detail, and how he savours his intimacy with his wife, but still is struggling to understand her.

The final scene with Cuddy's emotional meltdown was fantastic. Her pelting of House with reminders that he lives the unlikely was tremendous.

Brilliant writing...thank you.

In this chapter Cuddy gave House a taste of his own medicine. He never takes that well.

Well, finally, I have an update to post -- thanks for reviewing this chapter.

Yay, someone likes my automotive metaphors!

House has a weird love language all his own, doesn't he? All these sensory fixations, and his tendency to both obsess and keep his thoughts to himself, it's no wonder he is so frequently misunderstood, even by the people who care about him most.

Thanks for reviewing.

Cars are quite simple, actually: they are wonderful things if they go. If they don't go they are pieces of crap that need to be pushed into the harbor.

I loved this. It is hard to imagine how, but you just keep raising the bar with every chapter :)
