My photographer friend needs to pay his rent, so he's selling a camera if anyone's interested. It's a digital SLR, I don't know the brand, but he has three lenses for it. He's asking $750 and I know he paid more than that for it. Leave a comment if you want more info and I'll give you his phone #.

Damn. That's too bad. I hope he gets what he's asking for or that things work out so that he ends up not having to sell his camera. I was in that position a couple of months ago when I almost sold my synthesizer. I wasn't even going to get half of what I paid for it, but it was in the shop on consignment for a few days. But I finally realized things were just ok enough for me to retrieve it--and only hours before it would have been sold off.

If I had the money, I'd probably buy the camera off him. Well, you can tell him one of your LJ friends at least wishes him luck.
