Selling on LJ

So, being a cumpulsive dumpster diver and packrat, I have a ton of stuff I need to get rid off / sell off before I move. Has anyone ever tried an LJ selling journal before, or even ebay? How'd that work out? Or is just a good old fashion yard sale my best bet?

a friend of mine tried to do it once but her account was suspended... of course she got another one, but she didn't realize it's against the TOS

it is really common, I think someone (one of her lj "friends") reported her..

posting on the larger groups like *novascotia* seems to work - I've seen some people do it
