Since the demise of the old-school Seahorse and Stage Nine, would trying to open a new downtown rock bar be brilliant or insane?

The Seahorse still exists, they just renovated it to make it more classy. It's still a good bar and all, but the old trashyness was part of the charm. It's on Argyle near the Shoe Shop.

I know that the reason Stage Nine closed was that they didn't have any ground level foot traffic, though.
