I feel like i've been wasting my life a bit lately.  all last week i was ridiculously busy with papers and powerpoints and interviews and presentations, and friday i went rock climbing with wes and matt, and while it was fun, i found out just how horrible i am at rock climbing.  i did one easy rock.  that's it.  but it was fun and i had a good time ( Read more... )

i have two words that, if truly accepted and applied, can undo so many of the wrongs and meanness in the world.  i've been thinking about these words very intensely recently, and feel my above statement is truthful.

so last night as of six o'clock i was on spring break.  i'm coming home today, and kind of excited.  after i did my two papers and handed them in last night i was able to finally just relax and just be.  it'll be a good break.

we all know that there are trigger words that gain out attention and set an emotional (chemical) response in the body.

one of my trigger words, i just realized, is "oatmeal."

well now i don't think i'll be doing the udall scholarship thing...it seems likely that i wouldn't win anyway. it's very prestigious and can be used on applications for grad school, but at least i was nominated ( Read more... )

i'm gonna write about my feelings, because sometimes is seems like i have them.  so brace yourself.

i'm in a pretty pissy mood right now, after being really happy this weekend and up til now...i got all this crap thrown at me to do.  it's overwhelming and troublesome.  i need sleep but am not very sleepy.

i need to be a better person.

this weekend was wonderful...i went to the pasa conference with meagan and maggie and it was wonderful.  then i just pissed the rest of the weekend away, starting as soon as i got back on campus saturday night.  it was great ( Read more... )
