four of my residents are in my room...it's nice to see that they're getting along so well.

i should offer them tea or something.  but i don't have any cookies.  and they totally ate like half of my agave nectar.  and sucanat isn't that great in tea.  oh, well.

yeah...maniates totally made my head explode today.

he's finally accomplished his goal.  also, i think i've become a cynic.  i've always been a misanthrope, but a somewhat more hopeful one.

i don't feel bad about it, but i think i can finally use that word to label myself for descriptive purposes only.

today bowden brought in a pot of coffee for us.  it was like he just took the beans and melted them and then fed them to us.  it was horrible, thick, bitter, black, black-tasting, and eye-opening.

i thought of maja.

and i'm totally carrying around chotki (prayer beads) in my jacket anymore...

and yesterday, though i wasn't at church, because i was in a car coming back from pittsburgh, was the day the sermon made one of my friends actually cry, because the priest blamed the world's problems on feminists and those who advocate for safe, healthy abortion services for all women ( Read more... )

tonight is good.

everyone makes me happy.  my friends make me happy.

and i totally have to wake up super early tomorrow...today...in a couple hours.
