I have returned from the east coast. I've seen some wonderful things and met some lovely people. I've just started reading the letters and legal documents from the abandoned farm in Maine.

Last night I was feeling lowly so I went upstairs and read "The Black Stallion's Ghost," which is as fabulous as it sounds. As can be expected, it lifted my spirits with the soaring of a thousand eagles. Yesterday and today I have been in the kitchen for about 5 billion years.
