Sure, valentines day is made for greedy companies, but it's still nice, you know? My boss gave me a rose. I've never gotten a rose. Then, I got on the bus, and it broke, and a girl saw, and gave me one of her roses. Such random acts of kindness, you know?

And it doesn't have to be about money. I made cards for all my friends, spent zero dollars. The thought is nice.

Should, but won't. I think it's alright to focus a bunch of niceness into a few fabricated holidays.
