I'm going to work on using this thing more, but I'll probably be moving over to Dreamwidth so as to not have my updates being sent to/from Mother Russia.

Anyone else on that platform?

Livejournal alternative, but still hosted in the US. If you notice, all the EllJay URLs no longer support https connections, as the servers have been moved to Russia. When the Russian tech firm originally bought LJ, they kept the servers in California, and were somewhat bound by US rules. Once they moved over to Russia, that changed. And while nothing I'm going to write here about how my day went is going to change the geopolitical landscape, I don't especially like the idea of any Tom, Dick or Harry (Or should that be Ivan, Gregor or Dimitri?) having access to that 'just because.'

Not there, but have been looking into it. Apparently, cross-posting is a thing.

Glad to see you're still around. I've not gone there but I know a ton of people have, and I think change is probably in the air for me soon too, after 10+ years of paid accounts here. :P

Just migrated a few weeks ago. Nice to 'see' you again by the way.
