Mid September and Time Flies
After almost four weeks Pablo finally seems to have recovered. Not a fun time for anyone. Now it isn't critical so their follow up isn't a priority. I hope it doesn't return ( Read more... ) -
No news
Another day with no answers. From all the tests, I wish I were as healthy as Pablo. And yet every morning they end up vomiting and in pain.
What I have trouble understanding is why they won't refer them to a GI specialist.
If it continues tomorrow, then I'm planning to call the doctor I see and ask if anything can be done.

Time Marches On
A few weeks only, this time. Healing slowly. That's the best I can say. Oh yeah, and making sure I don't succumb to random infections. *chuckles softly* Easier said than done. Starting to see resistant bacteria showing up. Not fun ( Read more... ) -
Still Alive
Here I am in June of 2024. It's been a few years since I last updated this thing. I've finally settled my workers comp claim; that's a plus. Same time though my left leg was amputated below the knee. The benefit of the settlement was that I was able to buy a house outright. Never thought I'd be able to do that to be honest ( Read more... ) -
Been even longer this time...
Well... I stopped posting regularly when a friend told me that my posts made him depressed. So I kinda let it slide. I don't suppose that this will qualify as a cheery post either. I wonder how many of you on my friends list are still here ( Read more... ) -
Snow!
Snowed last night.. we got 1.2" Now there is a winter storm watch for tomorrow and they are saying we may have 7" plus depending on the storm track. Global climate change anyone? -
