...25 miles is far for people?

Up here, apparently. Former coworkers were shocked I lived "so far away" from the office, when it was only ~22 miles and about a half hour commute. Others lived 12-14 miles away, and in traffic, at best 45 minutes to/from the office - but I was the wacko for living so far away. As for the Furry scene up here, if you don't live in Portland proper, you basically don't exist, it seems.

This is a good update, something I've been intending to do for awhile on my LJ. I pretty much live on Twitter now, but it's just not the same as what we had here.

Admittedly, same here. Way more active on twitter, although even that sees me only from time to time, aside from being a reader.
