BAR-BEE-QUE!

So nice out today that I've decided to have a BBQ. Oh yeah. It's going to be good. Maybe I'll become a summer food blogger. I'll be like the Amateur Gourmet (http://www.amateurgourmet.com/) Only in Wolfville instead of New York. Maybe that'll be my summer hobby... Except I don't think I' ( Read more... )

Dire Straights? Steven, I love you. benzulu April 16 2005, 21:41:53 UTC
You are 100% correct, my dear friend, today is blindingly brilliant.
You DEFINITELY have to come to the musical I'm starring in; it's this thursday, friday, and saturday (apr. 21,22,23), shows start at 7:00 pm. Come if you can, if not, I understand, after all I AM only telling you this four days before the debut.

See my journal for more news.

Actually no one came to my BBQ, and so I ended up not doing very much (since I was only cooking for myself.) Plus I forgot about it and didn't take any pictures... So those are the reasons there is no BBQ update today...

Although it looks nice out again today...

I think it's spelled Dire Straits.

Oh, and you could always use library or usc comps to post to your lj if you have to.

Scary thought, going without a computer for the summer... I don't know what I'd do... egawds...

Yeah I was going to go to those computers for email and whatnot, but I don't know about transfering from the digi-cam... I suppose on the USC computers I could do that...

I'm actually kind of looking forward to having no computer... I have never gone for 4 months without a computer in the house... It will be an interesting experience!

Yeah, the USC comps would be able to do that, except you'd have to figure out where to put the pics from there, unless they happen to have a computer with a burner handy, maybe one of the macs... You'd need a server to upload them to or something... Conveniently enough, I happen to run servers, so I could set it up so you could transfer them to a comp of mine whenever you need to if you want... Or, when I'm in town, you could also transfer pics directly onto my comp...

My prediction is that it will be hell, Steve, pure hell... Well, maybe you'll survive;)

I had a hard enough time that one summer on dialup and that one month with no phone or internet, not things I particularly want to repeat... especially as my crippling internet addiction is stronger than ever these days!
